Easy-Peasy Pitta Pizzas

These ham and sweetcorn pitta pizzas are perfect to make with the kids. As you not making the dough from scratch, you can create this dish in minutes. Try experimenting with different toppings, and you can even make faces on the pitta with the veg – great fun!

Cooking time: 10-12 minutes
Serving size: 6 pitta pizzas

Ingredients

6 wholemeal pitta breads
3 tsp sun-dried tomato puree
1 red onion (sliced)
100g cheddar cheese (grated)
1 small tin of sweetcorn
3 slices of ham (sliced)

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill and place your pitta breads on a greased baking tray.

  2. Spoon on some tomato purée, spreading it out to the edges.

  3. Add a layer of grated cheese to each pizza base.

  4. Top with the red onion, ham and sweetcorn.

  5. Cook the pitta pizzas under the grill for between 10-12 minutes or until warmed through and the cheese is bubbling.
